not be paid to any officers in receipt of salary in excess of £1,250 per annum and

(b) the fixed salaries of £1,250 recommended by the Committee should be replaced by fixed salaries of £1200 + residential allowance of £70 on the scale suggested in 12.

As regards the Anomalies Committee

proposals concerning rent for quarters and rent for lodging allowance, the Governor

decided to adopt the new General Order 117

proposed by the Committee on page 7 of their

Report subject to two provisos see paragraph 4 of 16 and also paragraph 2 (b) of 12.
